Aaron Emmel develops new partnerships and oversees marketing for the organization. Prior to joining the Incubator, he launched the American Academy of Pediatrics’ global health advocacy portfolio and served as senior policy advisor at PATH, where he helped establish and grow the organization’s advocacy and public policy department. Aaron has drafted and secured the passage of federal laws, contributed to numerous policies issued by federal agencies, and led successful grassroots advocacy campaigns both nationally and globally. Aaron launched and sold two media companies and has extensive experience forming innovative partnerships, creating and leading coalitions, and advising organizations, including serving for three years as a New Ventures Competition judge for George Washington University. He writes and speaks frequently on global development and health and has been quoted in media including PBS NewsHour: The Rundown, Kaiser Daily Global Health Policy Report, and Nature Medicine.
