Patricia Sosa, JD
Patricia M Sosa, JD, is Regional Advocacy Director for Latin America at the Global Health Advocacy Incubator, where she oversees the Road Safety and Vehicle standard agenda in Mexico, Colombia and Ecuador. She is also the Director for Latin American and Caribbean for the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. Ms. Sosa has had over twenty-five years of increasing responsibility in policy advocacy, constituency relations, coalition building and grassroots mobilization. A Native of Puerto Rico, Ms. Sosa has a BA Degree on History and International Relations from Tufts University and a Juris Doctor Degree from George Washington University Law School. She is the recipient of the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) regional 2015 World No Tobacco Day award. This award honor individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to advancing policies and measures on tobacco control in the PAHO region.
