Ariana Childs Graham is Director of the Road Safety program at GHAI. Ariana builds collaborative public health partnerships with civil society advocates to drive policy change at country and global levels. Most recently, Ariana collaborated with diverse partners to promote stronger primary health care (PHC) systems and universal health coverage with the PHC Strategy Group and PHC Initiative at PAI. A people-centered approach to health and policy solutions that address the challenges of underfunded and fragmented health systems in low- and middle-income countries underpinned these efforts. Other past roles include convening the Global Leaders Council for Reproductive Health at the Aspen Institute to inform the sustainable development goals and helping to stand up the Family Planning 2020 partnership at the UN Foundation. She holds a BA in International Studies from Macalester College and an MA in International Law and Human Rights from the University for Peace. She lives in Takoma Park, MD with her partner and son.
