Deborah Backman is a Global Program and Financial Compliance Officer for the Food Policy Program at the Global Health Advocacy Incubator, where she supports the Advocacy Fund. Her portfolio currently includes Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. Prior to joining GHAI, Deborah supported breastfeeding support programs through capacity building, technical assistance and grants management at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials. Deborah has a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from the University of Pittsburgh.
