Emmanuel is our Country Coordinator-Liberia for our Immunization Program. He is a development professional with over 15 years of experience both the public and private sectors in Liberia specializing in health care financing, policy analysis, financial and project management, and capacity building.
Before joining GHAI, he served 4 years as Health Financing Advisor for USAID-Liberia’s Collaborative Support for Health (CSH) Program, leading and supporting the Ministry of Health’s post-Ebola healthcare financing reform - “Liberia Health Equity Fund (LHEF)” - in the areas of resource mobilization, costing, policy studies and analysis. Currently serving as Joint Learning Agenda (JLA) Training of Trainers Liberia on Health Financing and Universal Health Coverage (UHC), Conducting in country training to support and advance CSO advocacy on health Financing, Right to Health, accountability and domestic resource mobilization for health. He previously worked for nine years as Financial Management Consultant for World Bank funded projects in Liberia.
He holds an MBA in Finance, complemented by extensive training in Financial and project management, health economics, financing and taxation.
