Lorena Ibarra serves as the Senior Advisor, Industry interference for the Food Policy Program. She manages the Food Policy Program in Colombia and other strategic programmatic projects. Lorena previously served as the Colombia in-country coordinator where she was instrumental in supporting a broad coalition of partners in the development of advocacy strategies. Lorena has worked with Ministries, parliamentarians, city mayors, local governments, civil society organizations and academia to design and implement advocacy strategies in support of policy change in the public health sector for the past ten years. In 2012, Lorena received the Bloomberg Philanthropies “enforcement” award for her work on tobacco control with the FES Foundation.
