Lucy Martinez Sullivan, Executive Vice President, leads the Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI), overseeing the organization’s 8 programs across 39 countries. Lucy brings to GHAI a decade of experience leading global advocacy efforts and a business background having worked as a finance and marketing executive at Fortune 100 companies. She has appeared in numerous media outlets and has served on expert advisory groups including on the Global Nutrition Report. Most recently, Lucy served as the founding Executive Director of Feed the Truth, a transparency organization that sought to challenge the political power of the global food and beverage industry. Previously, Lucy founded and was the Executive Director of 1,000 Days, a leading advocacy organization working to improve maternal and young child nutrition in the U.S. and around the world. In her prior roles, Lucy worked with various philanthropies including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and non-governmental organizations such as the Wildlife Conservation Society and the UN Foundation on strategy, fundraising and communications initiatives.
